a pile of sand

To the guy at breakfast who complained that the beach down the road from our inn is nothing but a pile of sand, and who wanted ‘something better’ to ‘see’…  I say this:

    1. Yes, a shame indeed. For oodles of reasons… not the least of which is if we ‘saw’ beauty more we might see its value too and be more inclined to protect it…
