Oh I laughed when I clicked on — somehow such a connection with mine — thinking maybe this family was feeling so sad and zombie-ish because they’d LOST their phones?
Anyway, marvellous Carin: so many tales we could invent re these desolate “urban folk”.
I think they’re awaiting directions from their home planet.
The wigs, the lack of affect, the brilliant orange… Creepy. Was this actually a display in a store?

The fact that the ‘girl’ in the top picture has a t-shirt on that says “happy” is particularly ironic. I agree, very creepy, but fun too!
