3. Huge bird, tiny boat! As with Allyson’s, this makes me think of sailing with my dad. Funny — I was going to post a sailboat pic today too.

5. This is the perfect meditation image, solitude, distance, expanse and such a sense of quiet. I wish I was on that sailboat. So lovely.

6. Carin, the colour here is so rich — and there’s something vulnerable about the small boat against the big water and sky. That bird, which must be a lot closer, looks huge! Great shot.

   1. The sunrise that morning was amazing. Just lit up the world, but only for a few moments. I thought it was nice of the bird to pose for me. ;)

   1. Thank you. It was taken just as the sun was coming up. I don’t usually wear my glasses at the beach so every snap’s a surprise. This was a pleasant one.
