When passersby see you photographing mundane things, they must wonder what you are seeing that is exceptional or worthy of being photographed. If they could only see your quirky eye for colour.
Funny you should mention that. I usually don’t notice but this time, when I was shooting the grocery carts, a woman gave me the most concerned look… Not bemused, but really quite ‘worried’, upset almost. Very strange reaction. I almost took a moment to explain but something about her expression put me off, as if the idea of colour themes would only be more unhappy confusion for her. I smiled instead and went on my way. Which, when I think about it, probably flipped her out even more… (:
